We've tried the traditional screw-on cabinet/drawer locks, made of a lesser quality plastic & a pain to install (alignment). BLAH! Very easy to install and use. The standard type latches that you buy have two pieces and need to be aligned perfectly to work and they are about impossible to install correctly. These spring loaded ones were a snap. Works great and easy for adults to get into cabinets/drawers. Highly recommended

We have inset doors for our cabinets and it has been near impossible to find latches that work. These are the only ones I found and they work GREAT! My 18 month old has been able to get into virtually anything, but she hasn't been able to get past these.
