Hole Free Post Gate Installation Kit

The KidCo K12 Gate Mounting Kit doesn't require drilling into staircase banister post woodwork for the installation of your safety gate. Simply attach top and bottom clamps to your post and then attach the included wood strip to the clamps. You can then attach your safety gate onto the wood strip.

• For use at top or bottom of stairs with baby/pet safety gates

• Fits posts 2 1/2" to 3 5/8" wide

• Comes complete with 2 clamp mounts that adapt to the square or round portion of newel posts, 1 wood strip, and all hardware.

2 kits are required if both sides of gate are attached to newel posts.

Works great. easy to install worked with the two different types of gates I had. I would suggest two things - a slightly thicker piece of wood (it warps a little with the pressure mounted gates) and something to cover the ends of the screws that stick out on the other side of the wood when you mount the gate.
