Finally a Gate Mounting Kit that doesn't require drilling into staircase woodwork.

• For use at top or bottom of stairs with baby safety gates

• Fits posts 2 1/2" to 3 5/8" wide

• Comes complete with 2 clamp mounts that adapt to the square or round portion of newel posts, 1 wood strip, and all hardware.

• 2 kits are required if both sides of gate are attached to newel posts.

I purchased 2 of this item (bottom and top of the stairs). It is a breeze to install and it's very secure when installed. We attached the Kidco G20 gate to this kit and it's very easy to do.
