The adhesive doesn't stock. The second I pushed down slightly on the lock to open the cabinet, it fell off. Note, it does come with screws as another option, however, the reason I purchased this was so that I would not have to drill in the lock.

I used these to lock kitchen cabinets. They were too big to be used for shallow coffee table drawers that I had originally intended to use them on, but for the large kitchen cabinets (under the sink & stove) they are perfect
