The finger guards are cheap, easy to use, and very effective. They are small and relatively unobtrusive as baby proofing products go. Just slip it on the edge of the door anywhere above where your kiddo can reach. They prevent pinched fingers and slammed doors and have generally rendered our doors highly uninteresting to our little one.
