The coverPlug is the first product to combine safety with decor improvement. It is targeted at owners of newer and remodeled homes who, because of current building codes which require an outlet every six feet of floor run, have many excess electrical receptacles that are both unsightly and potentially hazardous to children.
Because it can be painted or papered to exactly match the surrounding walls, the coverPlug camouflages electrical outlets and the homeowner benefits in two ways: the electrical outlets (1) become less attractive to children and (2) are less distracting to the interior design of a room. They can be repainted as needs change and are pressed into place over the faceplate no tools are necessary.
