The Stairway Special is a maximum baby safety gate for the top of a stairway or wall opening. Latch system baffles children yet allows one-hand operation for adults. Stop bracket prevents opening over a stairway for safety. Will mount at angles up to 30 degrees allowing location of a stud when mounting on drywall. All Aluminum construction, lighter weight than steel, rustproof. Fits openings 27" to 42.5" wide and is 29.5" tall. Available in White and Black.

Note: Wood screws are provided with all wall-mounted gates for presumed installation into wood framework. Special surfaces such as brick, concrete, drywall or plaster will require different fasteners to achieve a secure installation.
